This web site offers free training videos to help you understand Categorical Logic and how to diagram both propositions and arguments. You will learn how to determine the validity of Categorical Syllogisms using Venn Diagrams and how to identify the Fallacy of Undistributed Middle. I will also discuss the warranted logical inferences depicted by the Square of Opposition.
I have taught Philosophy off 'n on since 1986. My favourite stuff is Categorical Logic thus I put this site together so that any student or interested party could have an additional account to describe and explain how this stuff works! The videos are made with Adobe CS4 Flash.
